All Seasons EZ Sand Waterborne Primer Surfacer

Urethane Supply Company's ALL SEASONS E-Z SAND is a black, easy-to-sand, freeze-tolerant primer surfacer for plastic bumper refinishing. The high-build formula hides 180 grit sanding scratches and is compatible with all automotive topcoat systems. E-Z SAND dries quickly to a smooth finish that your customers will love. Right out of the can, E-Z SAND offers superior solvent resistance, water resistance and durability.

E-Z SAND offers outstanding water resistance. If speed dried at 180°F for 20 minutes, ALL SEASONS may be wet sanded in one hour. E-Z SAND will not lift if inadvertently exposed to water after it is cured.

Compatible with all common single-stage and base/clear automotive topcoat systems.
Outstanding flexibility and adhesion. ALL SEASONS does not have the tendency to crack in cold temperatures.
Heated storage and delivery are not necessary.

Application

Prepare surface by cleaning with 1000 Super Clean, then 1020 Scuff Magic Prep Soap and a red scuff pad.
Anywhere raw plastic is exposed, spray 1050 Plastic Magic Adhesion Promoter.
Stir E-Z SAND. Apply with base coat gun using 1.3-1.8 mm nozzle. Ready to spray right out of the can, but may be diluted with water to lower spray viscosity. Orange peel disappears as it dries.
Allow to dry-flash between coats. E-Z SAND may be top coated at any time after it has completely dried. Dry time varies depending on temperature and humidity; allow at least 60 minutes at 72°F or 20 minutes at 180°F. Sand with 400 to 600 grit sandpaper immediately prior to top coating.
Clean gun first with water, then with acetone or lacquer thinner. To remove dried paint, use 1031 Ethyl Lactate.
