Polyolefin is the generic term used to describe a family of polymers derived from a particular group of base chemicals known as olefins. The polyolefins family includes polypropylene and polyethylene.

The blend of polyolefin in one part may not be the same blend in another part... So, this rod may or may not work well. The FiberFlex rod, however, works well on all olefins.
